Buckeye Gala is an early-maturing apple variety with bright red skin color.
It originates from a random seedling selection in the USA. As a tree, it has medium vigor and when it is grafted with medium-low vigor rootstocks such as (M9/M26) the results are really good.
It blossoms together with Golden Delicious and it can be pollinated by Golden, Granny Smith, Super Chief, Scarlet and Fuji.
